Ms Swati Vaishis Junior Scientist at Experiome Inc.
As a Junior Scientist at Experiome she brings in more than five years of experience in in silico biology, sequence mining, sequence analysis and visualization, molecular phylogenetic analysis, etc.
She is currently pursuing PhD from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Lucknow. She is working on bioinformatics characterization of glutathione S-transferase (GST) gene family in plants.
She is having double Master’s Degree in Biotechnology. She did MSc and MPhil in Biotechnology. She did her MSc dissertation from CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) where she gained hands on training and experience in various recombinant DNA techniques, Agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation, plant tissue culture, etc. In her MPhil dissertation, she worked on “In silico identification and characterization of Glutathione S-transferase gene family in Vigna radiata (L.) R. Wilczek and Cajanus cajan (L.) Millsp.”
She is well-versed with a variety of bioinformatics software and databases. She has developed particular expertise into sequence data mining from diverse genome databases. She has worked with NCBI CDD (Conserved Domain Database), Illustrator, TBtools, ESPript, MEGA, MEME Suite, SMART Database, Pfam Database, HMMER, Pal2nal, Clustal Omega, PlantCare, etc. She is also well- versed with gene expression data analysis.
She has published in peer reviewed journals like Genome, 3 Biotech, Biologia, Current Plant Biology etc. She has presented her research work in national and international conferences.
Nootan Singh, MSc
Scientist 1

Ms Nootan Singh is Scientist 1 at Experiome Inc.
As a Scientist 1 at Experiome she is responsible for sequence data mining, cancer microarray data analysis, promoter analysis, conserved motif analysis, etc.
She is currently pursuing PhD from Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Lucknow. She is working on the characterization of SPDEF gene in mammals using bioinformatics approaches.
She is Masters in Plant and Agriculture Biotechnology. She did her MSc dissertation from Department of Genetics & Plant Breeding, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), where she learnt Rhizobium culture, and its biochemical testing such as zinc and phosphate solubilisation, and physiological testing such as temperature and salt tolerance.
She has presented her work in national and international conferences. She secured first prize for poster presentation in “National Conference on Biotechnology Innovation” 2019.
She is acquainted with various bioinformatics software and database such as Ensembl Genome Browser, Expression Atlas, GEPIA2, cBioPortal, TCGA, MEME Suite, KEGG Pathways, MEGA, etc.
Yashi Jain, M Tech
Life Sciences Content Writer

Ms Yashi Jain is Life Sciences Content Writer at Experiome Inc.
After completing her B Tech (Biotechnology) from Shri Raswaroop Memorial University, she did her M Tech in Biotechnology from Shoolini University. As part of her M Tech dissertation she worked on the evaluation of acrylamide-induced hepatotoxicity and associated mechanisms in HepG2 cells, at the Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR), Lucknow.
She has also worked as a Trainee Life Sciences at Omics International, Hyderabad. She has hands-on experience of gel electrophoresis, anima cell culture, animal handling, immunoblotting, immunofluorescence, Nanodrop spectrophotometer, etc. In addition, she has done several workshops and training programs in different areas of biotechnology.
She has been an active blogger.
